Does El Director love India?

Hell yes! That's the simple answer. For the more complex one then tune in, for all throughout June, this blog will be turned into an Indian fest of fun and frollicks in the world's second largest country (population wise) as well as taking a look at travel in general. Tune in, but for now I need some sleep. A 19 hour transit in Delhi screwed me up. But come Monday, expect a travel spectacular for June, courtesy of my own journeys through North-East India...

Forgive me for being thick but isn't China the biggest country in the world and the most populated?

This is the problem with global warming too many people, life lottery... the solution, oh and execute all criminals even shop lifters.

Am I in a good mood? Erm...

@Dom - trust you to crack me up on returning to the uk with your mad ramblings!

China is No1. with population, India is second. But unlike China, India is fertile ad is a food exporter (as long as the monsoons hold up). Where do you think we get most of our rice, lentils and tea from? The country could easily support another half billion but its main problem is government corruption, which affects so many ordinary people. Which is one of the reasons why despite being a huge exporter of food, many of its people suffer from the farce of malnutrition!

You see, CMD can also ramble - haha!

@magiceye - one word can summerise the North East: 'Beautiful'. But of course, I will extend that one word to a whole month of blogging!

@Asad - and it is not bad being back, although I could have easily spent so much longer in India. Fine weather, fine food, fine women ;)
